WE NEED WOMEN TO BE WEALTHY
At The Fiscal Femme, we believe that financial well-being is all about equality. When we are financially well we can negotiate harder, take more risks in our career, leave situations (and people) that are not serving us, and invest in the causes that are important to us. This means getting paid what we’re worth, getting women on management teams and on boards, and investing in women-owned businesses.
Whether it's negotiating a raise or paying off debt, everything we create is designed with women and your financial success in mind.

Ashley Feinstein Gerstley, CFP® is a personal finance expert, speaker, and the 2x award-winning author of Financial Adulting and The 30-Day Money Cleanse.
She founded The Fiscal Femme, and has helped thousands of people feel financially confident, achieve major financial goals, and destress their relationships with money.
She has appeared on or been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, the TODAY Show, CNBC, Forbes, NBC, Glamour and the The New York Times.
Ashley has worked in the financial services industry for over fifteen years: first as an investment banker, then in corporate finance, and most recently running The Fiscal Femme. She graduated with a bachelor's in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Confession: I really struggled with managing my money for a long time, even though I worked as an investment banker and had a finance degree!
Yep. Back in the day, I was working in the financial space, crunching numbers and dealing with budgets on a daily basis. And I was making a great salary, too.
Sounds like the beginning of a millennial fairytale-come-true, right?
Wrong.
While you’d think someone with a degree in finance and multiple years in the financial trenches would know a thing (or 20) about managing money, at the end of the day–aka the end of my investment banking stint–I didn’t have anything to show for it.
(Save for a few cute photos from expensive, over-the-top dinners and maybe a designer handbag ...but definitely not any savings of my own!).
I justified my overspending by telling myself I was working so hard, I deserved to splurge! What’s a margarita here or a mimosa there?
Unfortunately, those margaritas and mimosas do add up. And despite all my experience, I didn’t actually know how to make smart money decisions for my own life.
The bright side? I was smart enough to know I needed a new job with a better lifestyle, even if it meant a lower salary.
I was also smart enough to know my relationship with money needed a MAJOR change if it was ever going to work. (And I wasn’t going to wind up back in my parents' guest room).
Flash forward to today: I’m the founder and CEO of the Fiscal Femme, as well as an an author, money coach, and feminist who is on a mission to end inequality through financial well-being. I’ve read more books on money than I care to count and have helped thousands of people transform their financial wellness.
What I’ve learned is this: Managing your money is simple, but it isn’t easy. And worse? This kind of “basic” money information isn’t readily available–especially for women.
But I’m here to change all that.
